Packing Problems
I got many messages asking about what to pack for enugu campus. Truth be told all I can give is a guide, at the end of the day it's about preference. I personally did not see the need to pack too much, I also had to bear in mind my mode of transportation, flying means you can carry few things. You can also waybill your luggage through God is good or any carrier service. However, you will still use transport to go to town to pick it because Enugu is in the village.
Enugu campus is located in a village, Agbani Town. You don't need to bring your best clothes here as most times you will be stuck in school. Bring as many casuals as possible because you will be going for group meetings and buying food. Also bring clothes for church . We have a gym so you can bring gym clothes. We have a tennis court so you can bring your rackets as well. There is a football pitch so you can also bring your football.
You should bring a curtain and a curtain rope ( it's 100 naira at ojukwu market), as the campus will not make provisions for curtains. You can also bring doormats for your front door and your bed, you don't want sand on your bed. You should bring newspapers for your wardrobes. If you intend to stay in Adam and Eve you should make provisions to install a rug as the floor is concrete.
Also make provisions for pillows, buckets, bowls, pegs, spreading ropes, underwear hangers, wardrobe hangers, etc. you may need to rent table and chair from the potters. It is N1500 or less for the whole year. Most of these things can be bought at ojukwu market
Iron and Kettles are not allowed. In my opinion you don't need more than 2 hand bags for ladies. You also don't need more than one blazer. It's all about preference but take into consideration the number of weeks in the term.
Bring your drugs with you when coming, also bring your provisions, however we have ojukwu Market your one stop shop for ALL you NeED!!
I hope this helps you with packing. You should also bring a rechargeable fan if you can afford it and rechargeable lamps. Enugu light is limited
