Dressing in Agbani Law School

Due to popular demand I have decided to cover this topic. Dressing in Agbani Law School is very crucial.  It can make or break your day. This is because the marshalls will not hesitate to send you back to your hostel if they fill you are not well dressed. Notice what I said IF they FEEL! It's really about how they feel about what you are wearing.

My first piece of advice is Do Not Argue with Them. you will still go back and change so just appeal to them and then if it doesn't work go back and change. You will save yourself stress and a bad day. Also, query can come from just small argument.

For the Ladies I will be dividing the dressing into terms

1st Term
Black dresses are only allowed for pregnant women. Keep them at home!
Leave your white Chiffon Shirts at Home
White shirts Cotton! Button up
Skirts should be below the Knee or on the Knee

Black shoes!  For Girls no Laces or rope on them ! They will call it sneakers πŸ˜‚
Suits are allowed
No Trousers of any sort
If you want to tie your hair to class buy the black caps because some days they will allow turbans and other days they won't allow. Also, you must start the term by tying your hair. You cannot come in the middle of the term and remember your religion says tie your hair! They will not allow it.

Subsequent Terms
Black dresses are still not allowed except you are pregnant
You can bring your chiffon shirts
You can bring your lace shoes

Guys
Black Suit! Very easy.
Black belt
Black shoes
Black Socks
Black ties
Only black not dark brown
Your Trousers should not be jumping, it should be long enough to touch your ankles.

MUFTY ! MUFTY! MUFTY!
Fridays are for trad! So you can wear your traditional wear on that day. Please it has to be full traditional wear! Don't wear Ankara shirt and English skirt! They will send you back. I stuck to English wear most times because I couldn't deal. Don't bring sleeveless Ankara. They will send you back, no show me your back. Just make it decent.

Tip: don't tie your hair on that day because you will be passed the mike and you will answer questions πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

OUTSIDE CLASSROOM
You can bring clothes to wear outside the classroom. My personal advice is don't pack too much.  Agbani is a village, so what are you really dressing up for?

You should also pack few clothes for church. 1st Term is seven weeks and 2nd Term is 12 weeks so when packing bear that in mind.

OTHERS
- fixing nails are allowed
- earrings are allowed( not dangling)
- makeup is allowed
- hairstyles are allowed ( try not to use racy colours, what you want to avoid in law school is attention)

Good luck with Dressing up at Agbani .
